In parallel with ongoing training activities on integrating digital transformation into teaching and learning, on January 22, 2026, the University of Danang (UD) successfully organized the training program “Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Administrative Management” at the UD headquarters. The event was implemented in accordance with Plan No. 22/KH-ĐHĐN and formed an important milestone in the implementation of the Erasmus+DIGITAL MOVE Project (2023–2026), an international cooperation initiative involving universities from Europe, Asia, and Mongolia, aiming to promote digital transformation and innovation in higher education governance.

The program attracted nearly 300 participants, including leaders of departments, affiliated units, administrative staff from departments and offices, representatives of faculties and centers, as well as staff from the UD-DNIIT. In addition, experts in digital transformation from UD’s partner organizations also took part in the event. The strong engagement and high level of participation reflected UD’s determination to systematically integrate digital technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, into administrative operations, towards building a modern, intelligent, and efficient university management model.

The training program focused on key thematic areas, including an overview of artificial intelligence and emerging trends in its application to higher education management; the introduction of AI-powered tools to support office administration, document processing, report generation, data analysis, and decision-making; and practical guidance on the safe, ethical, and effective use of AI in the public administration context. In addition, interactive discussions and real-life case studies closely related to management practices at UD enabled participants to better understand how AI can be effectively applied in their daily professional tasks.
Through the program, participants not only enhanced their knowledge and digital skills but also gained a deeper awareness of AI as a strategic tool for improving operational efficiency, optimizing workflows, and strengthening institutional governance capacity.

The training activity serves as a vivid demonstration of the effective implementation of the DIGITAL MOVE Project at UD, particularly in advancing comprehensive digital transformation in administrative management, developing digital competencies among staff, and promoting the application of innovative technologies in governance and decision-making processes.
At the same time, the program contributes to building a modern, sustainable university model capable of adapting proactively to the demands of higher education reform in the era of digitalization and globalization.
Through continuous training activities, experience sharing, and international cooperation, UD continues to affirm its pioneering role in higher education governance innovation, while further expanding collaboration with partners across Asia, Europe, and Mongolia.

The training session held on January 22, 2026, not only delivered immediate practical value but also marked a strategic step in the development of a comprehensive digital ecosystem at UD. The promotion of AI applications in administrative management is expected to significantly enhance operational efficiency, improve service quality, and lay a solid foundation for UD’s sustainable digital transformation in the years to come.
