The University of Danang organized training on the use of the International Cooperation Module in the MIS System

On February 5, 2026, the University of Danang (UD) organized a training session on the use of the International Cooperation module within the Management Information System (MIS) for staff and carders of the Offices of Science and International Cooperation of its member universities and affiliated units.

The training session was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Toan, Vice President of the University of Danang, with the participation of leaders and specialists from the UD-Department of Science and International Cooperation, in coordination with the Center for Information Technology and Digital Learning Resources. The training aimed to ensure the unified implementation of data collection, updating, management, and utilization of international cooperation databases across the entire UD, meeting the requirements of centralized management and digital transformation in higher education.

During the training, participants were introduced to the importance of centralized data; the structure and functions of the International Cooperation module in the MIS system; and were directly guided through the procedures for updating, managing, and exploiting data related to international partners, official delegations, workshops and conferences, cooperation agreements, projects and programs, international students and lecturers, scholarships, and joint training programs.

Notably, the training content was assessed as being highly relevant and closely aligned with the orientation of the DIGITAL MOVE project, a project in which UD is actively involved within the framework of international cooperation, aiming to standardize processes, digitize data, and strengthen information management capacity in higher education. The effective implementation of the International Cooperation module in the MIS system is considered a crucial foundation supporting UD’s participation in and successful implementation of regional and international digital transformation projects such as DIGITAL MOVE.

The training session also provided an opportunity for units to exchange ideas, discuss challenges and difficulties encountered during implementation, thereby contributing to improved effectiveness in applying the MIS system to international cooperation activities at the University of Danang in the coming period.
